So, with itunes, digital music has pretty much taken over. Album sales have increasingly dropped. Therefore, less cd’s are made. This cuts back the need of supplies to create the cd and all the work that goes into it. The cut back of supplies reduces the amount of workers needed at factories. Not only factories, but music stores too.
